Random Calgary/Cochrane shots

Well, Cochrane is pretty! I took a ton of pictures and these are a sampling of the ones that I really liked.

(below) This is the church around the corner from where my friend lives.

(below) One of the best ice cream shops in the country. . .it's not bad either!

(below) mmmmmm, ice cream

(below) Streets of Cochrane

(below) clouds over Cochrane

(below) These people make the best lattes!

(below) Spent a few nights here! Met some great regulars and people (except the first night when a weird group of people showed up!)

(below) playing pool until the wee hours of the morning

(below) Steve the bartender

(below) Some of the regulars. To get them to stop asking if we wanted a drink, we had to say yes! Had a few raspberry Stoli vodkas that night. They guys in the picture were really nice, and most had been going to this neighbourhood pub for at least 20 years! They beat us a few times at pool, we beat them more (only because they stratched a few times)

(below) The next day Diana and I went shopping at Chinook Shopping Centre. In the food court, they have these models moving around the entire area of the food court. Pretty cool. It's hard to tell in these two pictures how big they really are.
