Happy holidays everyone! I won't be out taking pictures for a while, it's been pouring rain in Vancouver, but really warm! I think it was 14 or 15 degrees here today. So, check back later this week, I'll have some new pics up!
Cheers,
Jennifer

Best place for burgers in Vancouver!
Seriously, Tim makes be THE BEST burgers here at The Railway Club! It's sad, i go here to eat, I have the same thing almost everytime. Although, I have had the chicken wings, these are pretty awesome as well! If you are into a burger and beer, I totally recommend this place and have the Derailer Burger! Awesome! (ps, the pictures of the empty part is there the band usually plays, I was there this afternoon and the lunch crowd was all in the other part of the bar!)

random pictures
Random pictures of Vancouver!
(below) I know, I know, it's a sidewalk
(below) It's like the where's Waldo but with beer cans.
(below) The church up the street from me at dusk.
(below) I know, this totally looks like snow, however, it's just frost!
(below) Really, my cat isn't dead. . . . he got some presents of catnip filled toys (him and his brother) and he's been hogging both of the toys!
(below) From my last performance

The view from my work
Walking to work
I thought I would take my camera to work finally, and snapped a few shots on the way. I went down Burrard street because I felt like a Tim Hortons, however, the line up was OUT THE DOOR! So I skipped that and just took some photos! The sky was beautiful this morning. It's been clear and sunny all week (yes, Vancouver DOES get sun!)
(above) this is the hotel behind where I live, but I took the picture because I liked the colour of the sky. It was about 7:40 or 7:45 this morning
(above) This is Hotel Vancouver. I was really liking colour today and I liked the shadows, etc on the Hotel. Of course, that didn't come across but I still really like the way it turned out.
(above) Burrard street at 7:45ish Friday morning, looking towards the mountains.
(above) My favorite building once again, the Marine Building
(above) This is the corner of my buidling that I work at (the one on the left)
(above) and then when I turned left on Pender Street, the moon was hanging in the sky! I was awed!
(above) Closer view of the moon. And I think this is the top of my building that I work in.

The Lights of St. Pauls
This is St. Pauls Hospital on Burrard Street.
(below) Awesome entrance!
(below) These stars are strung all over the front of the building, most of them have names of people that donated money to the hospital.
(below) They have two huge "lights" like this that are so awesome at night, totally look like fireworkers. Especially nice if you are having a bad day!
